Mr.Doran felt not so happy, because he married polly without love. He married polly not because of love but because polly is getting pregnant. He have no way to refuse it because he is afraid of losing his dignity and because of polly's mother. He should accept the reality that he will be a part of mooney's family,and he became a father of polly's baby. He find strength to marry polly and that strength coming from the child inside the womb of polly. Because Mr. Doran want to clean his image from other people.  Maybe after the long time of living in one home, he will be learning of  loving polly. That is the time that he will be realize even without love a man can marry woman that is because of big responsibility as a father.
